Engineer | owner – Reid Paraszczynec
Reid is the owner and driving force behind Lucid Distortion Audio. With over ten years of experience in the media industry, he’s worked with independent filmmakers across Saskatchewan and BC, artists spanning a wide range of genres, and on projects of all sizes—from small, DIY passion pieces to AAA video games and major streaming platforms. His work has been featured across Canada and at international film festivals (TIFF, Rotterdam intl, Montreal Festival du Nouveau Cinema, and many more), and several albums he’s contributed to have been nominated for Saskatchewan Music Awards.
Reid has also served as a juror for the Alberta Film & Television Awards, lending his expertise to the Sound Design category—a reflection of his standing in the industry and commitment to quality.
As a musician who stays actively involved in his own bands, Reid brings a deep understanding of the production process from both sides of the glass. His approach combines technical precision with a strong creative sensibility—always aiming to bring out the best in every project he takes on.
